In a strange act of propinquity, the number of movies on that list that I've seen is also a reference to a movie that deserves to be on that list more than many of the ones on it, it's also the number of points I've given you.

Down with the DH! My first thought when the Phillies one was, well that should quiet all of those AL fans for a while. Without the DH the strategy is better, the game is more focused, and when the pitcher does get a hit, it's exciting.

You left out Todd Beaton of MyDD, who is the best part of it.

You see the danger is that if we register fictional characters, then they might come to life and vote. Even worse, once they've voted, they'll stick around. Do you really want Darth Vader and Spiderman, arm-in-arm, wandering the streets of our nation's capital?! nota bene: Our nation's capital is currently Scranton, PA according to recent punditry.

I've been baited. I'll try to come up with something about Hardcore authors, but I agree, your selection is very un-hardcore.
Except for Nicky Sparks. He may not write hardcore, but he built a hugely successful track and field program for his local high school and through that is sending a lot of kids to college who would never have been able to go otherwise.
That's pretty Hardcore. Maybe.
Hardcore is a term like Punk and Pornography. You only know something qualifies because it claims to, or because other people claim it does. But, as the final arbiter, I know it when I see it.

I don't have your email, so I just wanted to let you know that I blogged your show. I'm doing my best to persuade people to go see it.
