Movember is also known in some circles as "NaNoWriMo", or National Novel Writing Month.  Every day, participants write a thousand words.  By the end of the month, you have a full length novel.  And a moustache.

I'm going to give it a shot this year.  Never mind the fact I don't usually find the time to put on clean underwear in the morning.  Wish me luck.

I realized I'm supposed to be doing Movember to raise funds for prostate cancer.  This is an excellent cause.  Unfortunately, the official "movember.com" organization is corrupt, and takes most of the money for themselves.  I REFUSE to donate a dime to them.

In honor of Movember, instead, I ask that everybody go to one of these more legitimate-looking charities and make a donation in my name.   I don't know anything about the subject so, as usual, I turned to Wikipedia, the king of all websites, to get me some links:

Until I figure out whether or not I need to know your name and amount of donations for tax purposes, slide me a quiet email about it.  Does anybody know the legalese behind this stuff... I'd rather I didn't have to ask for the amount if possible.
